The more technology improves, the more people are in need of a access control system. If someone says that our life is to controlled by some machines or device, remind them of a TV remote. Think of the moment when you have to enter your office. You need to punch your card and then the door opens. When you do not have the ticket for the Underground, you do not have access. This is how almost everywhere we are being controlled by this system.

This system exerts control over people of things that can get into interaction with a resource. In many cases, there is an authority who overseers this control and can put new restrictions on access. For example, in an office the human resource manager may be in charge of the system. Access Control system can be used for many different purposes and the resource can vary from an office building, a flat, a group of building or even a computer-based information system. There are many examples where this system is being used. For example, the ATM machines use this control system. The subways have examples of control system that controls access. The machine that gives you changes at the airports is also controlled by this control system. The main purpose of this control system is to provide security and confidentiality.
