A Guide To Steam Cleaning

Steam cleaners are ideal thoroughly cleaning a multitude of surfaces. Safe, efficient and reliable, they are excellent at removing dirt, grease and grime with minimum mess and fuss. Commercial steam cleaners use a little water and electricity to heat it up before pressurising it and pushing it through a cleaning nozzle as steam. The steam contains no chemicals or detergents, just simple hot water under pressure. They sanitise and deodorise floors, tiles, patios, walls, carpets, fabrics and furniture to name but a few. The steam cleaners use a low moisture vapour which doesn’t leave surfaces wet and is known as a ‘vapour steam system’. Not only are commercial steam cleaners efficient, they can treat almost any surface with ease and using temperatures which kill bacteria and germs, lifts cooking fats and grease and other surface problems such as algae from paving stones.

To use, these fantastic cleaning devices are simply filled with water into their reserve tank. Steam cleaners are available for both domestic and commercial applications and dependent upon model, some hold more water than other for larger areas and longer periods of cleaning. The heating element heats up the water in the tank to temperature where it turns into a ‘dry’ mist containing only around 6% of water. The power and heat are then applied to a multitude of surfaces for outstanding cleaning results. Carpets, fabrics and floors are clean and dry within minutes and with relatively little effort and absolutely no chemicals. When treating upholstery for the first time, it is recommended that care is taken by testing a small area first, otherwise this system is excellent and safe to use in and around the home. Defrost your freezer, clean your oven, remove stains and dirt from your carpets, the list is endless for home or business.
