My family and I recently expanded. We added a new member, the most adorable little Schnoodle puppy. We quickly discovered there was much more than just the puppy! Along with him, we had to get a bed, bowls, a collar, leash, toys, grooming supplies and, of course, food! The number of options was staggering, and I was determined to find the best dog beds for large dogs.

Our adventure into the pet store was a long one. What colors should the leash and collar be? Should they match? We went blue, since the pup is a boy and went with the matching option, at least for now. Up and down the aisles we went. Should we get a squeaky toy? A soft toy? A chew toy? Needless to say, we ended up with one of each!

The options for food were wide as well; organic, vegetarian, specially formulated by veterinarians as well as they standard fare my first dog grew up on. We were told we had to get good quality treats, too! Okay, should they be soft or crunchy biscuits? We were told for a puppy, only the soft treats would do. Don't get them too big, or he will get sick!

We finally wrapped it up and got the necessary reward card from the store. We are fairly confident that now, several months later, and many more trips to the store, we have everything we need for our little guy. It became very clear during the initial trip that endless supplies would keep us coming back for years to come!
